“No No No. Don’t fucking change the subject. Okay. Just fucking don’t.” He said throwing the needle on the ground and crossing his arms. “This is what you do with a 7 year old in your house?” He said as he bit the inside of his lip. “I’m taking Matty and i’m leaving.” He said as he turned away.
Immense pain showed on her face. She bit her bottom lip, listening to him ream her. When he said he was taking Matty, She clenched her jaw, before shouting, “Well I’m so fucking sorry I’m not an A plus fucking mother.” She fell down to the floor, covered in tears, “I gave him up, I know I’m fucked up Gabe but I don’t know how to fucking do this.” She sobbed. “I’m trying so fucking hard to start over, but do you know how fucking hard that is for me? I was alone for eight fucking years, What do you want from me?” She took deep breaths, through her sobs. “Tell me Gabe,” She looked up to him, “Tell me what you want me to fucking do?!” Her face fell into her hands, She sat on the cold floor, nude, drowned in her own tears.
There it goes again, Instantly Valerie felt herself blushing. “Stoppp it.” She said setting her food in her lap and pushing back her hair. “Thank you, very much though.” She smiled. “So, what’ta say? My place tonight?” She smiled
She smiled, taking another bite she thought about her answer. She looked over at her and shook her head yes. “Yes, That sounds amazing.”
Valerie blushed when Rosemary smiled at her, she instantly looked down to hide her face. She began eating so it wouldn’t be noticeable. “Yeah, It really sucks..” She sighed. “But hey, if you’d like you can spend the night at my house.” She offered
She saw her blush, and giggled. “You know, You’re cute when you blush.” She winked. Rosemary took another bite of her chicken with some noodles. She was glancing at Valerie, She was so beautiful, and it made Rosemary melt.
She gently took the plate and smiled. “Thank you, darling.” She said as she made a plate and sat down next to Rosemary. “Thank you again, Rosemary.” She said with a soft smile
She smiled towards her direction, eating a fork full of chicken. “No problem.” She said after she’d swallowed her food. “I know how it feels to be alone.”
She smiled as Rosemary pulled her inside, she shut the door behind her. “Hey, A house is a house.” She giggled as she walked over to rosemary. “Very.” She smiled.
She made a plate for herself, and handed a plate to her new friend, “Here. Help yourself. I got plenty.” She smiled at her.
Valerie felt chills run through her body as Rosemary grabbed her hand. “A-Alright lets go.” She stuttered out of nervous-ness and shyness. She smiled as she walked along side of Rosemary. “I agree.” She said looking up at the stars before back down at her feet to pay attention to when they got to where they were headed. She waited patiently as Rosemary went inside to get the food. She was never good at making first impressions, but the night really was going well, so far. She was curious as to why this girl was so interested in her, even though she barely knew her. But Val wasn’t gonna ask questions.. She was just gonna go with it. She smiled as Rosemary came back outside. “Smells amazing.” She said with a smirk as they began walking arm in arm. And within minutes — which felt like seconds. They were at Rosemary’s. “After you.” She said with a smile as she held her arm out, signaling her to go in first.
She smirked and pulled her inside, “Sorry it’s not the best.” She laughed, “But It’s enough.” She walked to the table, and put all the food out. “Hungry?” She asked with her right brow raised.
Valerie looked up from her lap and smiled at the girl. She immediately felt chills run through her body as the girl rested her hand on top of hers. “That.. That’d be lovely.” She said with a soft smile as she stood up in front of Rosemary. “Lead the way darling.”
Rosemary stood up after her, and grabbed her hand. “Alright let’s go.” She pulled her phone out and ordered their food, so that she could just stop in and grab it by the time they got there. After she ordered, They walked in silence for a few paces. She looked over at her new friend, She then looked back down at her feet. She smiled, “It’s really a nice night out tonight.” — “Alright, It’s right up there.” She told her as they began to approach. She walked in, and greeted the man at the counter. She got their food and walked back outside to her friend. “All set.” She smiled. She held the bag of food and interlocked her arm with Valeries, “Now home.” She laughed. Her house was only a few more minutes, and it seemed like the time passed almost instantly. She smiled at her when they got there. “Here we are.” She giggled.
She watched as the girl sat next to her, pulling her leg up onto the bench, keeping her knee bent and her hands in her lap as she looked at the girl. “Not a problem at all.” She smiled. Valerie was interested in the girl, and not just because of looks. “I did, But getting blown off really sucks.” She sighed. “But how about you?”
She could see the disappointment in Valeries eyes, Whatever she’d been waiting for must have meant a lot to her. She rested her had over the girls and pursed her lips. “How about, me and you get some take out and head to my place. I was already heading home, and it’s on the way.” She explained. She bit her own tongue in anticipation and excitement. “Sound cool?” She smiled.
Valerie giggled and looked up at the brunette. “Well, i’m glad you think so.” She smiled as she patted next to her and scooted over so the girl could sit. She was still stuck smiling, taking in the not-so-common compliments. “Thank you very much.” She blushed. “It’s nice to meet you, Rosemary. I’m Valerie. You have quite a lovely name.”
She raised her brow and tilted her head. Her lips curled into a smile as she walked towards the bench. She sat down, still looking at Valerie. “Thanks beautiful.” She thanked, and once again complimented her. Valerie had a sparkle in her eye, and an elegant smile, She had to know more about this girl. “Did you have any plans for tonight?” She asked hopeful.
Valerie felt instant relief as the girl came closer to her. She turned to face her with a soft smile on her lips as she interlocked her hands together and sat them in her lap as she watched the girl come closer to her. “Thank you very much.” She said as she could feel herself blushing from the compliment. “I do hope you’re not just saying that though.”
Rosemary chuckled, “I’ve had a few drinks tonight, Everything that comes out of my mouth is almost two hundred percent true.” She laughed at her self. “But really, You sound fucking awesome.” She said, before continuing she pushed her hair behind her shoulder, “And you’re crazy beautiful.” Rosemary complimented she pretty blonde, biting her lip. She walked closer to her, “I’m Rosemary.”
